The Catholic Center at Duke University commissioned artist, Wiktor Szostalo to create Our Lady the Untier of Knots, a favorite concept of Pope Francis from his time in Argentina. This five-foot version was created in a suitable size for their contemplative garden at the Catholic Center and installed in 2021. It is suggested that nearly everyone has some psychological "knots," that can be subject to "untying."
