Joseph is teaching his son to be a carpenter. He hurries to his work as the young Jesus tries to keep pace with his long strides. The boy carries the nails for his earthly father and passes one of them to him for inspection. The work is installed in the lobby of St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
