St. Francis of Assisi, by John Collier. Eight feet in height, bronze with gray patina. Commissioned by a college in Northeastern U.S. St. Francis is in motion walking in the footsteps of Jesus. The college placed the sculpture in front of the Admissions building. This way incoming students, faculty, admistrators and visitors can be inspired to follow in those same footsteps, both figuratively and if they choose, even literally.
