John Collier was commissioned to sculpt the Crucifix at St. Frances X. Cabrini Catholic Church in El Paso, Texas. Life-size, bonded resin.
John created the cross in the form of a tree, as likely many of the crosses were created in that form when crucifixion was used in executions. John's concept follows the scripture in Acts 10: 39 "They put him to death by hanging him on a tree."
