Crucifix
Bonded resin, life-size corpus; height of the cross, 10.5 feet. The tree-of-life cross calls the viewer's attention to the beautiful irony in the passion of Christ as a remedy for the fall of Adam. (Jesus is called "the second Adam" by St. Paul.) It also reflects the kind of imperfect wood form that could have been used to make a cross in ancient times.
